About Trip

Chisopani Nagarkot hiking is a short and wonderful hiking in Nepal that requires 2 Nights and 3 Days hike & include 2 nights kathmandu city . The hike begins from Sundarijal and goes through the picturesque countryside trail to the popular tourist hill of Nagarkot. Sundarijal is a watershed area of the Shivapuri Nagarjun national park, which is awesome to enjoy the fountains. Chisopani Nagarkot hiking trail is soft and exciting. During the hike, you can enjoy the panoramic views of greenery landscape, ethnic communities that are prevailed throughout the terraced landscape and the magnificent Himalayan views from the hill top. The Himalayan 360 views include the Everest, Gaurishanker and Rolwaling, Langtang and Manaslu region peaks. The hike offers an opportunity to capture the appreciating Himalayan and hillside panoramas that remind you about your astonishing hiking in Nepal. Outline Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu ,1350m.
  • Day 02: Drive to Sundarijal (1.5 hours) and Hike to Chisapani (5 hours).
  • Day 03: Hike to Nagarkot 6 hrs
  • Day 04: Hike to Changunarayan and Drive to Kathmandu
  • Day 05: Departure to International Airport.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01Arrival at Kathmandu ,1350m.Welcome to Kathmandu. Our airport representative greets you at the international airport on your arrival. After you will be transferred at the hotel then check-in at the hotel, refresh and rest yourself. Your Trekking Guide will briefly explain your trip program in the evening. O/N at Hotel (A).
  • Day 02Drive to Sundarijal (1.5 hours) and Hike to Chisapani (5 hours).After breakfast quite early at the hotel, we drive to Sundarijal. It is popular as a picnic spot. It is a very beautiful natural place. Then we start our hiking trip to Chisapani. It is a peaceful environment with the sweet music of birds and village life. By enjoying the views of incredible landscape, we arrive at Chisapani. Hikers have an opportunity to view the sunset around the evening. O/N at Lodge. (B, L, D, A)
  • Day 03Hike to Nagarkot 6 hrsToday, we walk towards the Nagarkot after breakfast. We have to walk quite long but the views are more interesting and panoramic. The trail leads through the rugged landscape of Shivapuri National Park. On the way we have lunch and rest for sometimes. As we head to the hill of Nagarkot, the views of the Himalayas are dazzling. It is breathtaking views of sunset over the Everest and Langtang Himalayan range. O/N at Hotel. (B, L, D, A)
  • Day 04Hike to Changunarayan and Drive to KathmanduWe will have spectacular sunrise view today. We wake up early morning and head towards the viewpoint. It is incredible views, which make you feel that you are in different world. After making photographs, come back to the hotel and have breakfast. Then descend to the UNESCO listed World Heritage Site- Changu Narayan temple. Have lunch on the way and return back to Kathmandu in the Car/bus. O/N at Hotel. (B, L,A)
  • Day 05Departure to International Airport.Today, it’s your final day of the trip in Nepal. On your airport time, our company representative bid farewell and wish for safe journey. (B)

Are any permits required for trekking?

Generally, trekking goes through the National Parks or through the conservation areas. They require permits. We manage permits for you and you should not keep on thinking about it.
