About Trip

A blend of magnificent natural beauty and the majestic mountains, cold glaciers, and warm hospitality; this is how Everest Base Camp Trek will treat you. The name Everest already makes it an interesting place to be at, and the trail is as exciting as the grandeur of the name suggests it to be.

The Everest Base Camp Trekking starts with an amazing and adventurous flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Every part of this trek puts you in awe, may it be the forests, grasslands, mountains or the settlements. The Tibetan villages like Namche Bazaar, Khumbu, Khumjung, Tengboche, and Dingboche have beautiful houses with friendly people, rich culture, and good food. The Sherpa Museum at Namche Bazar and the Tengboche monastery at Tengboche are interesting places to visit. The five colored prayer flags with sacred prayers make the fresh air even purer as they flutter in the wind.

The Everest Base Camp trail presents you with the spectacular views of major peaks including Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Makalu, and many others. Just before you reach the base camp, you will pass through Khumbu glacier, which is a 17 km stretch of ice. Khumbu Glacier is the highest glacier in the world. At the base camp, standing on the foot of the world's tallest mountain, you can feel a surge of pride running through you. The hike to Kala Patthar is yet another highlight where you can enjoy the most beautiful 360o panoramic view of the majestic mountains. The view from Kala Patthar is even better compared to that from the base camp.

Thus, do not procrastinate anymore to check this destination off your bucket list. The best time to make this dream come true is from March to May (spring) and September to December (autumn). So pack your bags and experience the purity of the Himalayas. This will certainly be a life-changing journey and Index Adventure will leave no stone unturned to make it the best trek of your life.

Great Costumer services

Great Costumer services

We experienced excellent costumer service by this company .in Kathmandu there are tons of adventure companies to choose but it can be hard to differentiate but we did this one certainly. The trip was incredible and at any moment if I needed to contact Keshab he would reply almost immediately. the agency was very friendly and patient, provided us with a lot of great information and ideas and together we planned a trek tailored to our specific needs (including scheduling specific rest days and places during the trek). The Guide and porter provided to us by the agency, they were accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. He even had suggestions to make our trip more enjoyable and easier for us. I highly recommend this agency thank for you’re all helped for our dream to succeed Everest Base Camp Trekking.

Highly recommend Index Adventure

Highly recommend Index Adventure

I highly recommend Index adventure as a trekking company. I have poise that their experienced guides would improve the enjoyment and safety of any trek which they provide service. During the trek planning, I had many questions to keshab .he was always enormously patient, responsive and helpful. From the since we arrive in Kathmandu airport index adventure were very accommodating about airport pickups. They made it as easy for us as it possibly could be. In the trek they provide us rental gear (down jackets, sleeping bags, duffel bags etc) was excellent quality. We save some our budget too. The food and accommodation was much better quality than we had expected. Typical dishes were veg fried rice/noodles/pasta or potatoes, veg and egg. Meat was available but not recommended during the trek it was bad taste. Our guide madan was super brilliant. He was serious about our safety and our health and hi is joker very funny and great company.

I would not hesitate to recommend Index Adventure for any trek. I will definitely use Index adventure for a future trek in Nepal.

Unforgettable experience with Index Adventure

A Index is a piece of art made from the throng of small pieces .my Everest trek with Index Adventure was just that, I was so lucky to be trekking with two groups that came tighter as one .we are like became a family it made by our Guide and potter .they were amazing leaders that put our comfort as their priority .i have been on many tours throughout my years of travel and this team tops them all. Thank you for everything mr .Keshab owner of Index Adventure .Everything was very well organized - from reservation process, trip information, the pickup/drop off at the airport, accommodation, transportation and the activities themselves.

If you are thinking about doing any trekking at all in the Himalayas, you can't go wrong with Index Adventure.

Awesome experience with Index Adventure

Awesome experience with Index Adventure

I choose Index Adventure because I have multiple friends that used this company and recommended them. So far they have best customer service. The manager you will message with from abroad was super organized and replied within 24 hours. Weldon arranged me with those things transportation, flight and trekking gears with each issue that arises. Keshab and his crew were not just there but helped with sympathy and fear made what could have been a true nightmare, especially in my weakened condition, a manageable situation. Our guide sudip was super professional and knew everything about the Everest regions.

Absolutely recommend Index Adventure for Everest Base Camp.

How much should I tip my guide and porter?

Tips are appreciated by your support team after the trip. The amount depends on your budget and appreciation of their work. Some trekkers give 10% of the total tour cost as tips. This is absolutely your choice, make the best of it. Only you can decide this.
