• Day 1: Arrival day in Kathmandu.

    Welcome to the beautiful country. We will meet at Tribhuvan International Airport, and then you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and Climbing preparation.

    Today you go for a guided tour to see the beauty of Kathmandu valley. You can visit the religious sites like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath in the day. Later, we meet at our office so that the expertise can brief you about the trip and help you prepare. Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 3: Fly to Lukla and trek to Paiya (2,730m/8,954ft) 3-4 hrs.

    Morning scenic flight of 35 minutes takes us to Tenzing Hillary Airport, Lukla. Shortly after reaching Lukla, we walk towards Paiya. Trek goes through several villages and farmlands with the great view of hills and valleys to finally reach Paiya, a summer meadow bounded with beautiful pine and rhododendron trees.   • Day 4: Paiya to Panggom (2,850m/93,48ft) 5-6 hrs.

    After breakfast, we descend till we reach the timber bridge above Paiya Khola, and then move ahead through the slippery trail to cross Kari La (3,145m). We then walk through the rhododendron and bamboo forest through the narrow trails enjoying the exceptional views of DudhKoshi River valley and KusumKanguru (6,367m) before reaching the village of Panggom for the night's rest.

  • Day 5: Panggom to Ningsow (2,745m/90,003ft) 4-5 hrs.

    We start the trek today with a steep ascend to Panggom La (3,174m), after which we make a gradual descend towards Sibuje. Then walking through the rhododendron forest and small Sherpa villages, we first descend and then ascend to reach Ningsow. Enthralling views of the south face of Mera Peak (6,476m) awaits us in Ningsow. Overnight in Ningsow.

  • Day 6: Nigmsa to Chhetra Khola (3,150m/10,332ft) 7-8 hrs.

    After breakfast, we ascend on a vertical slope through rhododendron and bamboo forests to reach Ramailo Danda, which serves amazing view of Mera Peak (6,476m) and KusumKanguru (6,367m). From Ramailo Danda, we make a gradual descend through the forest. If lucky, we might spot the rare red panda on this trail. A little further from the bamboo jungle and past a nice stone cave by the side of Inkhu River, we will camp for the night. Overnight in Chhetra Khola.

  • Day 7: Chhetra Khola to Kothe (3,600m/11,808ft) 6-7 hrs

    We ascend on the ridge and reach a fine vintage area of the Hinku Valley where we see the magnificence of nature surrounding us. Walk through the bamboo and pine forest in the thin trails while enjoying the views of Mera Peak (6,476m) and the Hinku Valley. We then continue walking on the ridge above Inkhu River to reach Kothe. Overnight stay in Kothe.

  • Day 8: Kothe to Tangnag (4,350m/14,270ft): 3-4 hrs.

    We continue to ascend on the ridge above Inkhu Khola while walking under the shadow of Mera Peak (6,476m). We make a short stop in Gondishung, the summertime herders' settlement on the west bank of Inkhu River. Beyond Gondishung, we cross a 200-year-old Lungsumgba Gompa along with the rock on which Mera Peak is scripted. We pray for our successful climb of Mera Peak (6,476m) offering incense in the Gompa. A short ascend from the Gompa takes us to Tangnag, which is dotted with basic lodges and shops. Overnight in Tangnag.

  • Day 9: Acclimatization Day: Hiking to Charpate Himal Glacier.

    Today is our rest day. It is not suggested to stay idle instead we have to stay energetic to be ready for the next day's adventure. So after breakfast, we trek for about 3 hours up to Charpate Himal Glacier. Seen very close from Tangnag, Charpate Himal is considered holy by the Sherpa community and is adored by the locals for its square-like shape. We will get an outstanding view of Mera North (6,476m) from here. After an hour's enjoyable trek downhill, we will be back at the camp in Tangnag. Overnight in Tangnag.

  • Day 10: Tangnag to Khare (5,045m/16,486ft) 2-3 hrs.

    Today we leave the meadows and head towards Khare on a rocky trail. We follow the moraine route to Dig Kharka, which offers spectacular views of Charpate Himal. The trail climbs through moraines to our camping spot in Khare. The view from Khare is surreal as it offers a stunning vista of Mera Range, Kangtega (6,685m), and several others snow-clad peaks. Overnight in Khare.

  • Day 11: Khare to Mera High Camp (5,780m/18,958ft) 5-6 hrs.

    Walk through rock scattered course to reach Mera High Camp. We have to make a sheer ascent to Mera La (5,415m) through the icy moraines and follow the trail amid Mera Glacier and Naule Glacier to reach Mera High Camp. Upon reaching the high camp, we rest for a while and then practice some ice climbing techniques with the help of our climbing guide. As we rest for the day, we will be able to relish the striking view of the snowy mountains and glaciers all around us. Overnight in High Camp.

  • Day 12: Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m/21,190ft) and back to Khare (5,045m/16,547ft) 8-9 hrs.

    A big day today! Beginning very early for the summit, our path leads with a sheer ascent, where our Sherpas have already fixed ropes on necessary sections. After a strenuous climb without any technical struggle, we reach the summit of Mera Peak (6,476m). A dream becomes true with an awe-inspiring panorama that surrounds us. Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Lhotse (8,414m), Mt. Makalu (8,463m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,188m), and many other snow-capped mountains of the Khumbu and the Makalu regions can be seen from the top of Mera Peak (6,476m). Afterward, we return to Khare via Mera High Camp, walking along the slippery trails. Overnight in Khare.

  • Day 13: Khare to Kothe (3,600m/11,808ft) 4-5 hrs.

    After an enthralling moment and an experience of a lifetime, we return to Kothe through Tangnag and then rest our aching bodies. The views are wonderful as we retrace our steps through the familiar paths. Ascending and descending through the meadows with picturesque views, we reach Kothe. Overnight in Kothe.

  • Day 14: Kothe to Thuli Kharka: 5-6 Hrs.

    The trail from Kothe to Thuli Kharka takes us back to the forested areas with lines of blue Himalayan pines and rhododendrons. Then crossing several nice grazing lands on a slow ascend with astonishing views of Mera Peak (6,476m) and other high Himalayas, we arrive in Thuli Kharka. Overnight in Thuli Kharka.

  • Day 15: Thuli Kharka to Lukla: 6-7 hrs.

    Today we return to Lukla, from where the trip had started. We make a steep ascent to Zatrwa La (4,610m) and then descend along the ridge to reach Lukla. Upon arrival in Lukla, we will take time to enjoy the accomplishment of Mera Peak summit, as a group and as an individual. We will also have enough time to explore the place. We enjoy the environment and share stories with the local people since today is the last day of the trek. Overnight at guesthouse

  • Day 16: Fly to Kathmandu.

    This morning we will board the Lukla flight again, the difference being this time you will be bound for Kathmandu. An amazing view of the high Himalayas and later of the towering hills serves us until we land in Kathmandu. You will be transferred to your hotel, after which you can explore the city. Overnight at a 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.
