About Trip

Adventure hike tour is a combo of trekking, heritage, pilgrimage and sightseeing all in one awesome package. It is an opportune trip for those who want to traverse around the preeminent tourist valleys of Nepal i.e. Kathmandu and Pokhara. It also includes an ideal trekking cut out for beginner trekkers or those who want to avoid difficult and long trials.

Adventure hike tour encompasses the supreme locations of the cultural and historical center of Kathmandu valley comprising of Pashupatinath temple. We also visit Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world and Swayambhunath, a stupa atop of a hill. Both stupas are surrounded by prayer wheels and both have eyes of Lord Buddha depicted which is believed to see all people. Pay homage to these principal Buddhist and Hindu pilgrimage sites.  Sightseeing around Patan and Kathmandu Durbar Square will take you back in time. Both are medieval royal palace complexes dating back to as early as the 10th century with museums, fine artistry, and architecture.

The tour takes you to the most beautiful city in the country, Pokhara where the short trekking starts. We hike to Sarangkot hill, which gives the pristine sunlit view of the highest mountains such as Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Ganesh, Manaslu, and more than 20 other mountains. We continue our hike to the blissful Dhampus village overviewing the Himalayas inhabited by cultural and friendly Gurung people.

The bucket-list attractions of Pokhara include boating in the Phewa Lake. One gets enough time to devour the panoramic beauty including the mirror-image reflection of Machhapuchhre in the water. The most visited places in Pokhara are David Fall, a beautiful waterfall that forms an underground tunnel and Mahendra cave with sparkling rocks around the wall. There is also a refreshing visit to the commercial hub of Pokhara, Old Bazaar, and the sacred hilltop Bindyabasini temple. Other sites include the milky white Seti river deep gorge and International Mountain Museum.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01Day 01: Arrival at KathmanduUpon arrival, our representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to the Hotel. Free for the day and dinner at evening with a brief about the tour. O/N at Hotel.
  • Day 02Kathmandu SightseeingThe first day of the trip kicks off with a tour around the major heritage sites of Kathmandu valley like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Patan and Kathmandu Durbar Square with the company of a licensed tour guide. An artistic and spiritual edge of the city will be unveiled in this appealing day trip. O/N at Hotel.
  • Day 03Fly or Drive to Pokhara City Today we cease Kathmandu and head out to Pokhara in a 25 min flight complemented by a stunning vista of the Himalayas or we take a beautiful drive (6-7 hours) through Prithvi Highway accompanied by picturesque mountain valleys and Himalayas. O/N at Hotel.
  • Day 04Drive from Pokhara to Sarangkot Phedi and Hike to SarangkotA 30-minute drive leads us to Sarangkot Phedi. Then we make a 2-hour hike passing over the ridges to the Sarangkot vantage point which is perfect for watching the rays of sun sparkling over the Himalayan skin whether it is sunrise or sunset. Overnight at lodge.
  • Day 05Hiking from Sarangkot- DhampusWhat better way to start a day than a blessed view of the sun rising at the Himalayas? We start our uphill trek through small rhododendron forests towards the Gurung settlement of Dhampus, another viewpoint of the Himalayas especially the Annapurna and Lamjung ranges. Overnight at lodge.
  • Day 06Hike down to Phedi and drive back to PokharaToday we trek downhill to Phedi for about 1.5 hours on a trail that crosses small towns, paddy fields, and green hills. It’s a smooth trek and a moment to marvel the soothing serenity of country life. As we reach Pokhara, we have the spare time for an evening walk. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 07Pokhara SightseeingToday is reasonably the most overwhelming day of the trip as we tour you around the prime destinations of Pokhara namely David Fall, Mahendra cave, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Bindyabasini Temple, Old Bazaar, Seti River gorge, Mountain Museum and an hour-long boating on Phewa Lake. O/N at Hotel.
  • Day 08Fly or Drive to KathmanduThe last day of the trip involves flying (30 min) or driving (8-9 hours) back to the capital city and checking in to the hotel. The surplus time can be utilized in strolling around the valley or some souvenir shopping around the local market.
  • Day 09Final DepartureIt’s the day you bid farewell to the gorgeous land of Nepal. Our representative will drop you off at the airport. In case our country has completely enchanted you and you desire for further exploration, we are always there to extend the trip.
