Important Note

Checklist for Bhutan Tour

  • Valid passport (valid for six months from the date of your trip)
  • One other picture ID, such as driver’s license (in case of emergency and for use as a substitute of passport or incase of loss of your passport) Photocopy of passport page to carry in wallet
  • Air tickets (Make a copy of flight tickets which may be helpful, in case of loss)
  • Visa Clearance (Make a copy of visa clearance which may be helpful, in case of emergencies)
  • MasterCard, Visa Credit and Debit Cards are accepted in Bhutan. However travelers’ cheques and some cash are highly recommended.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01Arrival at Paro Airport after the drive to Thimpu (1hour 30 minutes’ drive). 2320 M.Upon entry in Paro, clear immigration. Keep your documents handy and keep a copy of each document for immigration purpose. Your tour guide will be waiting outside the arrival terminal and drive to Thimpu. Touring the city at night. Overnight in Thimpu (L/D/A)
  • Day 02Thimphu Sightseeing Entire day touring in Thimpu. You will visit important sites namely, Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, Takin Sanctuary, Indigenous Hospital, Textile Museum, and Heritage Museum, Traditional School of expressions and artworks and Tashicho Dzong. Upon the accessible time, you will likewise visit Zangdopelri temple, paper factory, and different sights. Overnight in Thimpu. (B/L/D/A)
  • Day 03Thimphu to ParoAfter breakfast, drive back to Paro. Morning hike to Taktshang Monastery (Tiger's nest). It is Bhutan's most noticeable cultural icon roosted 800m up an apparently sheer cliff. It is trusted that in the eighth century, the tantric master Guru Rimpoche/ Padmasambhava (2nd Buddha) flew on the back of a tigress to the site where the religious group now stands.   • Day 04Departure After breakfast, transfer to the airport in time for your departure flight to onward destination. (B)
