Day 1: Kathmandu to Chitwan.
From Kathmandu, you will take a comfortable drive towards Chitwan. The drive takes you through the hills beside the Trishuli River. Chitwan is natively inhabited by the Tharu community and is famous for housing Chitwan National Park. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 2: Explore Chitwan National Park.
You will explore Chitwan National Park. One of the major attractions are the decorated domesticated elephants which are used to take a tour inside of the park premises. The tour will take you through a permitted trail inside the protected area. On a lucky day, you may come across a one-horned rhinoceros, a rare and endangered species and other animals such as sloth bears, wild peacocks, deer and much more. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 3: Bird watching and Return to Kathmandu.
Other than animal watching, Chitwan and Sauraha is also a hub for bird watchers and enthusiasts. A large number of migratory and resident birds make up the population of the aviary biodiversity in this region, including Giant Hornbill, Lesser Florican, and Paradise Flycatcher. After a successful day of bird-watching, you will also drive back to Kathmandu.
