MOUNT EVEREST 3 HIGH PASS TREK

Mount Everest 3 High Pass Trek is an ideal trek for the adrenaline rushers as it passes you through 3 high passes of Everest region; Renjo La pass (5,340m), Cho La pass (5,420m) and Kongma La pass (5,535m) bestowing sheer mountain vistas along with immense natural beauty. This 21 days long trek initiates from Lukla and reach out towards Namche Bazaar (3,440m). From Namche Bazaar we will pave our way towards Renjo La pass trekking through Marulung. Afterward, we will hike towards Gokyo Ri and then to Cho La pass via Thaknak. As we continue our trek further, we will trek to Gorak Shep passing through steep rocky trails and finally reach our destination; Everest Base Camp encompassing through bizarre trekking trials and alluring landscapes. From Everest Base Camp we will hike up to Kala Patthar (5,545m) which is the highest point of our trek and the views are more exciting from here. We will then descend to Lobuche and trek uphill to Kongma La pass and follow our way back to Lukla.

  • Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu. (1,350m).

    Welcome to the land of the Himalayas. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted and further escorted to your booked hotel by one of our representatives. Leave all the trouble in our hands from this point on.

  • Day 2: Free & prepare for trekking.

    Explore the walking streets of Thamel and absorb the amazing vibes of this tourist hub. Prepare yourselves for the trek by doing some last minute shopping or either relaxing with a trekker’s massage at a spa.

  • Day 3: Fly to Lukla (2,800m) and trek to Phakding (2,652m). 3 - 4 hrs walk.

    After a 25 minute flight, brace yourselves to land at one of the world’s most dangerous airport. This notorious airport is the only gateway to the Himalayas, with hundreds of flights every day. Commence your trek to Phakding, as you come across several Sherpa villages. Along the way, immerse yourselves in the local culture.

  • Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m). 5 - 6 hrs walk.

    Stay composed mentally and physically for the toilsome trek to Namche Bazaar. The 9.4km trek will bring together several other trekkers, Himalayan animals, and mind-blowingly strong porters along the way. The picturesque amphitheater like Namche Bazaar is definitely a treat.

  • Day 5: Rest Day at Namche Bazaar.

    Acclimatize yourselves with the higher altitude at the Gateway of the Himalayas. With narrow alleys filled with pubs, bars, and restaurants, enjoy your last day around modernity. Keep yourselves warm with some Tibetan butter tea and the sweet gossips of the locals.

  • Day 6: Trek to Thame (3,800m): 4 - 5 Hrs

    Our routes take us along the Bhote Koshi River, where the first village that we will come across is Phurte. Along the way, several monasteries grace the routes. As we reach midway, we make a quick stop for some warm tea and some gossips at a tea house.

  • Day 7: Trek to Marulung (4,210m): 5 - 6 Hrs.

    Escaping the view of greenery for the rest of the trek, we make our way to the extremely small village of Marulung. After trekking for 5-6 hours, we approach a small bridge tiny stream which eventually brings us to the village of Marulung.

  • Day 8: Lungden – Renjo La Pass (5,360m) - Gokyo (4,800 m): 8 - 9 Hrs.

    Today is going to be one of the ne plus ultra moments of the entire trip. As we get closer to the fantastic Renjo La pass, the panoramic view will leave you aghast and open-mouthed. Today's trail has plenty of stunning views in store for us. The turquoise blue and crystal clear waters of Longpongolake, TabocheTsho, and Dudh Pokhari await to mesmerize you. As we walk past the Dudh Pokhari, we finally get to the Gokyo Lake. We’ll call it a day as we admire the panoramic views of the Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and several other pinnacles.

  • Day 9: Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,357m).

    Only a few hours do not do justice to exploring and traversing around the surrounding of Gokyo. We spare the day to visit the nearby ThonakTsho Lake, NgozumaTsholake and Ngozumpa glacier, which also happens to be the largest glacier in Nepal.

  • Day 10: Trek to Thaknak (4,750 m): 4- 5 Hrs.

     As we move away from the Gokyo Ri towards Thaknak, witness the stunning overhead view of the Gokyo lake. After almost 6 hours, we get to the village of Thaknak, where we will spend the night at.

  • Day 11: Cross the Cho-La Pass and down to Dzongla (4,830m): 7 - 8 Hrs.

    Today's trek may be rather challenging and strenuous for some. If we happen to be lucky enough to have the weather is in our favor, special equipment’s won’t be necessary and we will have a rather peaceful trek. Despite the trek being a difficult one, it will definitely be worth it.

  • Day 12: Trek to Lobuche (4,940m): 4 - 5 Hrs

    Today's trek is relatively short but definitely a groundbreaking one. A once in a lifetime experience will take you through trails between mountains that seem to be sandwiched together. Along the way, say hello to the Dughlalake. Upon getting to Lobuche, enjoy the views of the stunning peaks, particularly the Tawoche and Nuptse.

  • Day 13: Trek to Gorak Shep (5,170m) - Everest Base Camp (5,364m) - Gorak Shep: 8 - 9 Hrs

    Walking along the trails that link the sub-zero moraines and the walls of mountains, we set foot on the Italian glacier. Through steep rocky trails, frozen streams, we get to the famous Everest Base Camp. Explore the camp to the fullest. After some time, we make our way to Gorak Shep, which was the spot for the Everest Base camp back in the days.

  • Day 14: Hike up to Kala Patthar (5,545m) and descend to Lobuche (4,940 m): 7 - 8hrs

    Today, Kala Patthar is where we will be going to. Kala Patthar directly translates to ‘Black Rock’ in Nepali. Although Kala Patthar isn’t a gem of a mountain, it provides an excellent view of the Mount Everest. After getting there and gaining what we can, we make our way towards Lobuche, where we will spend the night.

  • Day 15: Climb up the Kongma La (5,535m) and descend to Chhukung (4,730m): 8- 9 Hrs

    Not everyone dares to set foot upon the challenging trails of Kongma La. Upon getting to the world’s most stunning mountain land, you will enjoy the panoramic views of few of the highest peaks. Later, we make our way downwards to Chhukung, where we spend the night.

  • Day 16: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m): 5 - 6 Hrs.

    As we get nearer to Tengboche, our eyes face the greenery and we are in the vicinity of some refreshing trees. Along the way, we will have an encounter with the exquisite Tengboche monastery. A quick tour of the Tengboche monastery is ensured to uplift our spirituality and enhance our bliss.

  • Day 17: Trek to Namche Bazaar: 5 - 6 Hrs.

    As for today, we head back to the ever so enchanting Namche bazaar. After the 6 hour trek, explore what you couldn’t at the beginning of the trek. An excellent way to celebrate the completion of your trek is by chilling at one of the several bars.

    Today, we make our way to Lukla. Gear up and let's promise ourselves to make the most out of our last trek. As we walk along the narrow terraced trails where yaks, porters, and locals walk about, visual fragments of our entire trip come alive in our minds.

  • Day 19: Fly Back to Kathmandu.

    We end our trip with the infamous 25-minute terror flight from the Tenzing Hillary airport to the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. Gaze and thoroughly paint the views of the Himalayas on your mind for one last time.
