The 20 days Nar Phu valley trek encompasses you through the finest natural beauty and visit renowned pilgrimage site of Nar Phu valley; Nar Phedi Monastery and Tashi Lhakhang Gompa where you can experience the divine Tibetan Buddhism culture and tradition. The key features of Nar Phu village are an exploration of medieval villages, astounding views of Annapurna II, Himlung Himal, Ganggapurna and Tilicho Lake alongside insight into Tibetan culture. The trek to this restricted vicinity initiates from Jagat encompassing you through trekking routes of Annapurna massifs and then to Koto enjoying alluring views of iconic mountain ranges alongside off the beaten tracks to Nar Phu. The highest point of the trek is Thorungla pass (5,416m). This trek also takes you through famous pilgrimage sites of Nepal i.e. Muktinath. You will also get a chance to explore the lively city of Pokhara.

    You will be picked up by our representatives at the airport and transferred to a hotel for check-in. You will then be briefed about the trek. You can spend rest of the day exploring the streets around the hotel. Enjoy your stay at the hotel.

  • Day 2: Full day Historical Sightseeing in Kathmandu.

    On this day, you will start your tour from Monkey Temple from where you can see the panoramic view of Kathmandu city. From there, you will be driven to Pashupatinath Temple. After spending some time there, you will go to Boudhanath Stupa. You will then come back to the hotel and prepare for the trek. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule.

    After breakfast, we will drive towards Bhulbhule from Kathmandu. The beautiful drive passes through the different topography of Nepal. It will take about 7-8 hours to arrive at Bhulbhule. Overnight stay at the lodge.

  • Day 4: Trek from Bhulbhule to Jagat.

    From Bhulbhule, our trek starts officially. We will trek to Jagat where we will stay for the night.

  • Day 5: Trek from Jagat to Dharapani.

    We trek to Dharapani passing through the enchanting trail of Oak forests. We will walk through Millet fields until we reach Dharapani (1,900 m). It will take about 7-8 hours.

  • Day 6: Trek from Dharapani to Koto.

    Trek to Koto (2,610 m) is somewhat fatiguing as the trail is quite demanding. Nevertheless, you will be occupied with the beautiful scenery of Himalayas like Manaslu (8,156 m), Lamjung Himal (6,983 m), and Annapurna II (7,937 m) among others.

  • Day 7: Trek from Koto to Meta.

    To reach Meta (3,560 m), you trek through beautiful dense pine and red glittering rhododendron forests. Your trek is always fascinating as you feel more connected nature.

  • Day 8: Trek from Meta to Phu Gaon.

    From Meta, you walk through a bit deserted region for about 7-8 hours. As you arrive at Phu Gaon (4,250 m), you will be welcomed by the Tibetan culture.

  • Day 9: Excursion around Phu Gaon.

    Today you explore the colorful village of Phu (4,250 m). You visit Tashi Lhakhang Gompa where Lama Karma Sonam Rinpoche still resides. You can explore the Tibetan culture, tradition, culture of the timeless Phu Gaon. It will also be a day for acclimatization.

  • Day 10: Trek from Phu Gaon to Nar.

    You then descend to Mahendra Pool trekking through a rather solitary trail for about 6-7 hours until you reach Nar (4,110 m). You then take a steep descent all the way to Nar.

  • Day 11: Explore Nar Village.

    Here in Nar, you will see amazing panoramic views of Pisang Peak (6,091 m), Kangaroo mountain, Pokharkan and Amodsang Himal. You will explore the Nar village. You will then rest for the remaining trek, and get accustomed to the altitude.

  • Day 12: Trek from Nar to Ngwal via Kang La Pass.

    You will start early for today’s strenuous trek as you will be walking on a steep and rocky trail. Upon arrival at Kang La Pass (5,322m), you will witness 360 degrees view of Annapurna massif. You then descend down a very steep track to Ngwal (3,660m).

  • Day 16: Trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La Pass.

    From Thorong Phedi, you will trek to reach the highest altitude of this trek in Thorong La Pass (5,416m). After spending some time at the Pass, you will descend to Muktinath (3,800m), the holy temple of Hindu, and spend the night there.

    Upon visiting Muktinath, you will then trek to Jomsom via Kagbeni passing through Jharkot and Khingar villages. After walking about 5-6 hours, you will reach Jomsom (2,715 m). You stay for the night in the whirling Jomsom enjoy the chilling breeze.

    Early morning, you will be flying to Pokhara from Jomsom. In about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the City of Lakes. You can spend the free time strolling around the streets of Pokhara or cycling by the lakeside. Overnight at Pokhara.
