Sleeping Bag is a must-pack item while on the trek because the teahouses in the higher altitudes are much colder in the night. Plus, there are no room heating services so you may feel cold in the middle of the night. To avoid such inconveniences you can carry your own four-season sleeping bag and enjoy the warm and cozy sleep wherever you get to.

  • Trekking Poles

Trekking poles are your friend-like support during your whole trek. You need them very much either while ascending to the heights or while descending. Whether the trail is covered in snow, or slipper or dry, they come handy anytime anywhere. So, do not forget to carry along the sleeping bags for your trek.

  • Trekking Boot

A pair of trekking boot on your trek is to either make or break your whole trip. With the comfortable and lightweight pair, you will have an easy time walking on the trail. But if the shoe is uncomfortable you will get blisters and have quite a difficult time on the trek. Plus, if you are trekking in the winter and monsoon, it is better to carry a boot with strong grip and traction. They keep you safe in slippery trails. And, a water-proof/ water-resistant boot is always a bonus in the trek to the mountains.

  • Snacks

You find enough place for food and accommodations in the Everest Base Camp trek. You will get a three-time meal in those tea houses. But while walking you may feel low in energy or crave for some energy-giving food products. During such situations, you need some items of snacks like Protein bars, granola bars, oat bars, chocolates (dark ones), dry fruits, instant teabags, dried fruit powder, and so on.
